12th January
2013 - MOKRUN
2013 – SOLD OUT. Both the half marathon and
10k races are now completely full. We are
delighted with the uptake and look forward
to seeing 800 runners at the start line on
26th May. Unfortunately we do not operate a
reserve list or allow swaps. Good luck with
your MOKRUN training!

The 10k course is mainly flat and follows the
three sides of Campbeltown Loch. The
half-marathon route leaves the town and runs
through the countryside and crosses the
Machrihanish Dunes Golf Course heading down on
to the hard sandy beach of Westport for a
kilometre before heading back to Campbeltown
along the country roads. The final mile of both
races is on a slight down gradient into the
town, along the main street heading back to the
green by the Aqualibrium for the finish.
Once again we will be holding the pasta party on Saturday night
before the race, and the weekend would not be
complete without the post race Sunday night
ceilidh. Check out “Other events over weekend”
for further information of what’s on for runners
and their families. We hope you will join us for

Kintyre Half Marathon and 10k on Sunday 26th
May! This year

nothing will be sent out in the post this year,
– please ensure you read this thoroughly to be
prepared for race day. |

16th April 2013 - MOKRUN are
delighted to announce that the new ferry sailing
from Ardrossan to Campbeltown will be launched
on the 23rd May 2013 in time for the
Mull of Kintyre Half Marathon and 10k. For full

16th March 2013 -
MOK Junior Race £5 entry -
The MOK Junior Races will be held on the Saturday
afternoon, the day before the MOK 10K and MOK
Half Marathon, so family, friends and those
taking part the following day will be able to
come along and support those taking part in this
year’s event.

6th February 2013 -
After feedback from runners we are delighted to
announce that we will be introducing a 'Vintage'
category to our prize list for 2013. A Vintage
prize will be awarded to 1st male and 1st female
who are over 60 on the day of the race. SA and
existing MOKRUN race terms apply. |

To hopefully reduce the number of
enquiries that we are getting about entries for
this year's race we have printed a list of all
entries. The 10k entries can be found
