Saturday 24th May: - 5.00pm Jamie Andrew at the Aqualibrium - FREE EVENT - sponsored by Kintyre Healthy Living Initiative
Jamie Andrew is the Scottish mountaineer who had his hands and feet amputated following a horrific accident in the French Alps. Miraculously, despite his handicap, Jamie has carried on with his mountaineering career and has made some amazing ascents all over the world, raising many thousands of pounds for charity along the way.

Jamie Andrew

We are delighted that Jamie is giving up an hour of his time to come and tell us his motivational story. Jamie says "The talk will give you an idea of who I am, what I do, and what I’m trying to achieve. It’s my hope that my experiences and achievements may in some way inspire others to tackle the obstacles they face in life and to achieve their full potential. It seems to me that our greatest limitations are the ones we impose on ourselves. I want to encourage others to throw out these misconceptions and to be all they can be. Read more about Jamie here www.jamieandrew.com

The event is free to runners and their families, but since space is limited please reserve places by e-mailing events@mokrun.com
